These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Myfolder Space, operated by MyFolderSpace OÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
By accessing or using Myfolder Space, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you agree to comply with them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Myfolder Space is an academic workspace organized around four pillars: Learn (AI tutoring, practice, exam simulation), Write (research, citations, collaborative drafting), Organize (file storage, planning), and Grow (cohorts, momentum tracking, referrals). We offer a Free plan and paid Monthly/Yearly plans, plus institutional licensing for departments and universities.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are enrolled through an institutional license, your institution is responsible for confirming eligibility under any additional local rules that apply to its students.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@myfolder.space if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree not to:
Myfolder Space's AI tools are study, research, and organization aids, not a substitute for your own understanding or original work. You're responsible for complying with your own institution's academic integrity policies, including rules on AI use, citation, and original authorship. We are not responsible for how you choose to use AI-generated output in coursework or research submissions.
You retain ownership of the documents, drafts, and files you create or upload. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you (and to anyone you explicitly share it with) solely to provide the service. We don't claim ownership of your work, and we don't use your private content to train AI models.
Responses from AI Tutor, AI Solver, Research Sounding Board, Paper Breakdown, and Writing Studio's AI assistant are generated by third-party AI models (currently Google Gemini) and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Always verify anything important, especially citations, factual claims, and methodology feedback, before relying on it.
Institutions licensing Myfolder Space for a department or cohort do so under a separate agreement covering seat counts, pricing, and admin access. Institutional admins may view enrollment and aggregate usage for their own licensed users as described in our Privacy Policy.
The service relies on third-party providers, including Google (AI processing, OAuth, translation) and Stripe (payments). Their own terms and availability may affect our service, and we aren't responsible for outages or issues originating from these providers.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose a security risk, with notice where reasonably possible.
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Estonian or EU law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the effective date above, and for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice.
